The old wicked witch is dead!

Rebranding is in the works as I type. There is a new photo placement on SarahPac. The last one they removed was a steely cold business suit with that old beehive do she likes.
Can this product, known as Sarah Palin,
escape it's past?

If the next event is any indication, no it can not.
The next show is a repeat of the same old same old.

The new wicked witch is no improvement.

Was the FEC a motivating factor for the workers at old SarahPac? If they want donations they do need a better product. Sarah might even show up for a signing event at Change Point Megachurch in Anchorage. After all, it is a photo op for a new package.

When Church Lady Sarah was allowed to leave the "undisclosed locations" it was for guns, awards and money and now the blatant ignorance and disregard for Alaska's most vulnerable victims. That is a pattern of hers, go after or ignore the defenseless.

The initiative that Palin supports is shallow and does not consider what happens in the family dynamics when incest is involve. Palinistas are among the people that refuse to engage in discussions on health care. She has proved she is not able to speak outside of a narrow venue.
Fat chance there will be any mention of incest victims.

It is all more perplexing because of the dismal record of abuse in Alaska.

In 1993, Alaska ranked 1st in the nation: highest per capita incidence of rape.
Alaska has 6 times the national average of reported child sexual assault.

1 in 4 girls before the age of 12 and 1 in 6 boys before the age of 18 nationally will be sexually assaulted.
Fairbanks Health Center surveyed 419 clients over a 3-week period and found that 24% reported physical abuse in the past 6 months while 39% reported some form of sexual abuse (1995).
In 3 out of 4 reported cases, the victim knew the offender, the most commonly reported type of sexual abuse is a father who commits incest with his daughter--usually the eldest daughter.
As many as 4 out of 5 offenders were sexually assaulted as children.
One-third of incest victims' mothers were sexually abused as children.
Alaska's rape rate is 2.2 times the national average overall.

More Alaskan-based research is needed on risk factors and the complex relationship between domestic violence and child abuse, elder abuse, and domestic violence during pregnancy, as well as its overall prevalence and incidence.

  1. This is a serious subject, with one of the least serious public figures making a speech about it tomorrow.

  3. Wow! This is a switch. Out of the first 48 comments so far on the ADN article I posted above, ALL are negative about Sarah. Where are all her beloved sycophants? Could it be they are finally beginning to see what a fraud she is?
