I think it’s time to start liking folk like him, a boy who shot so spectacularly to fame when he got Sarah Palin’s unwedded 17-year-old daughter Bristol knocked up three days after Palin was announced as McCain’s running mate.

Really, the kid deserves to be adored for simply being the protagonist in such a glorious moment in schadenfreude.
But my fondness goes beyond this.
I’ve just been reading his car-crashy expose of what it was like living with Sarah Palin while he dated Bristol in this month’s Vanity Fair.
I have to say, his first-person rundown is gallantly balanced and measured.
He comes across as a normal hockey-playin’, moose-shootin’ boy with the kind of bogan-a-licious name everyone in Wasilla seems to be christened with (The rest of the cast in this story illustrate the point: Tripp, Trig, Bristol…).
He’s gracious. And naive, even. Not out to sledge and moan. And he doesn’t seem to have a judgmental bone in his body.
Just a kid who couldn’t quite believe that the goose that is Sarah Palin had been planted on a rarified conveyor-belt, one assembly line stop-off from becoming America’s Vice President. Just like the rest of us.
Then again, the facts are salacious enough as they are. Life at Chez Palin during the running mate brouhaha was a carnival of errors and subterfuge.

It is about time the Johnstons get more kudos going their way. Just surviving the past year is enough hardship and wrath. You have to hand it to the 19 year old, he didn't shrink and he got out in front of it all. The McCain/Palin machine is massive and won't let up on them, but they haven't stopped Levi.

All of the attention that Schmidt's comments have attracted is yet more evidence of the fact that Palin is a -- if not the -- prime mover in the Republican party. If she does ultimately run for president (and there are strong arguments to be made on each side), it's almost certain the race would boil down to Palin and a single candidate -- former Gov. Mitt Romney (Mass.), Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty* etc -- who would become the rallying point for the anti-Palin forces.
Until then, the forces who support her and those that oppose her will continue to reinforce their positions -- a process that could turn the 2012 presidential nominating fight into one of the most memorable in history.

Levi Johnston wants us to believe he witnessed a remarkable transformation that defies all logic. I can't wait for him to elaborate and tell detailed answers to the many questions he has provoked.

Throughout history when a miracle is witnessed more details and questions follow. Levi lived with the Palin family. He would know about her diet and physical regimen. He perhaps is privy to secrets that would benefit mothers to be of all ages who want to maintain their shape and health.

The photos to the left show how Sarah went from flat to a round pregnant tummy in 2 short weeks.
That is a miracle if true.

There is something desperately sad about Piper, the Palin's youngest daughter. She is a precious girl. Her parent's choices had to be hell on her over the last year. Now there is no one who can say for certain where she is or about the care and schooling she receives. Both Piper and her mother are MISSING IN ACTION. In the best case scenario that can't be healthy for a child that needs the protection of a stable home and a typical family life. Did she have to leave her family and friends? Does she have a kitchen where she can do her own cooking? Is it hired help or restaurants where she sits down for the replacement of the family meal? Is she overwhelmed with her new life and new friends?

Levi Johnston once lived in the same house with Piper. They were all one family before the split ups started. Now there are dark secrets and the family is no more, the divides are vast. Piper might be as far from her Wasilla home as New York. Levi is telling his part of the family story piece by piece. His Vanity Fair article titled “Me and Mrs. Palin” is coming out this week. The Palin's will not only deny anything Levi says, they will try and destroy everything about the Johnstons. The fact is they are no longer together and Levi is the one with a better track record for making sense.

"There wasn’t much parenting in that house" is a serious statement from Levi. There is enough to back him up but it does not sync with the packaging of the Sarah Palin that was sold to America. Her puppeteers and Palinistas are continuing to sell the ideal family of values. An über symbiotic relationship is not cute or healthy.

The questions surrounding Trig Palin are important, but please take some time to remember the missing and forgotten 8 year-old we know as Piper.

When will Bristol's abstinence-only passion show?

Celebrity Bristol Palin was last mentioned as being in public in a July 4, 2009 article. Todd has a beard and doesn't have a beard, that part gets confusing. Was the parade photo taken this year? Bristol looks like she gained weight or she could be pregnant and rumors fit right in with the look. Just last May she was thinner for her media gig with the Candies Foundation. Who is the beardless guy from July 3? It's all too much.

I'd like to know is Bristol a quitter like her mother? Why hasn't she said boo about abstinence-only? She could have one of the Palin public relations teams put out a spin about why she quit, to spend more time with her little family is a good one. The disappearing act is low life, she learned that from her parent. This works for a rebellious Bristol who wants to make her parents look bad. If she wants to stoke the rumor mill she can, that's how Britney and Lindsay do it. Why not another dopey celebrity teen?

It took Levi to show the world that Tripp is not always the "out cold" prop the Palin side shows us. If they wanted to put out another image of Tripp with the Palins, they would if they could.

The last presser I know of was last April. HERE, Bristol Palin Has A New Boyfriend!! The Sarah PR would have approved of the release or we would have heard something else. Whether an actual friend of Bristol said that or not, we'll never know, it's more likely it was a no name plant. The Bristol isolation part of all this was pathetic. It is nice if she appears to have some friends her age. Johnny Chandler has passed approval and we hear he is working on his image. Chandler has pity for Bristol, Levi probably joins his old friend in Bristol pity. Sarah not only threw her from the bus, she'll continue to run over her because she knows Bristol is too weak to escape. The stories about Bristol going to school in Anchorage are dubious, they mean nothing, even if she was going to school there or taking courses on-line. Wasilla is a tiny community, a suburb of Anchorage. Some residents may feud for a time, like the Hatfields and McCoys, but in the end they'll kiss and make up. Bristol is bonded to her old gang.

It makes total sense that she is not practicing abstinence-only. Has she gone back to "slutting" around as the new rumors go (Have you ever wondered why she suddenly stopped going around promoting abstinence?)? Slut was a word she used. Does she have a steady beau, two, more? The last we heard from a presser she was palling with the old gang. There is news, Wasilla is a toxic wasteland, which is further explanation to their problems as seen around the world. What is happening to your youth, Wasilla?
