Sarah 'sue the world' Palin

If quitter gov Palin thought she was going to bury her Friday presser, she might want to think again. She has challenged both the giddy love sick gov Sanford and the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, for precious lead space around the world.

How does she do it? Tantalizing America with the thought of dragging her family before a grand jury is her latest. Her mysterious 'higher call' crap doesn't even come close in interest. Who cares about those delusions of hers?

The thought of Sarah Palin giving depositions and going into the legal process is making many in Alaska deliriously happy. Who cares how she gets there? Bring it on, Sarah!
Palin's Deception brings up a good point: "But sue anyone over 'Babygate?' I'm waiting."

WTF Sarah? More strange Independence Day behaviors? It looks like she was lurking on the side lines.

Update - Sunday at 8:00 a.m - A report from Juneau:

Although her press release on Friday said Governor Sarah Palin would attend Independence Day festivities in Juneau, she didn't show up.
The local committee charged with 50th statehood anniversary activities left a place for her to speak on their agenda for the 9 a.m. ceremony re-enacting the official raising of the 49 star flag at the Capitol, but had to replace her at the last minute with Clark Gruening, grandson of former Territorial Governor and U. S. Senator Ernest Gruening. The Juneau Festival Committee reserved a place for her to ride in the Juneau 4th of July parade, but again, she didn't appear. It was rumored that the Palins stayed at the Governor's Mansion last night. The mansion's lights were on, and at least a dozen people viewed the July 3rd midnight fireworks from the balcony above the Mansion's columned porch, but bystanders couldn't see who they were.

Palin's "higher calling" mystery

JUNEAU, Alaska – Outgoing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on Saturday laid the groundwork to take on a larger, national role after leaving state government, citing a "higher calling" with the aim of uniting the country along conservative lines.

Citing a "higher calling" and sicking her dog on
bloggers and publications!

The abruptness of her announcement and the mystery surrounding her plans has fed widespread speculation. But Palin attorney Thomas Van Flein on Saturday warned legal action may be taken against bloggers and publications that reprint what he calls fraudulent claims.

"To the extent several websites, most notably liberal Alaska blogger Shannyn Moore, are now *claiming as 'fact' that Governor Palin resigned because she is 'under federal investigation' for embezzlement or other criminal wrongdoing, we will be exploring legal options this week to address such defamation," Van Flein said in a statement. "This is to provide notice to Ms. Moore, and those who re-publish the defamation, such as Huffington Post, MSNBC, the New York Times and The Washington Post, that the Palins will not allow them to propagate defamatory material without answering to this in a court of law."

*they are not claiming "fact", they are
talking about rumors

Where is Sarah Palin? A day after surprising even her closest friends by announcing she would step down as Alaska governor more than a year before her term was up, the controversial hockey mom was keeping a low profile. Her spokesman, David Murrow, said Palin told him she was flying to Juneau, the state capital, for the Fourth of July weekend, but he wasn't sure what activities she planned to attend.
