Odd Things are Happening - X Files ? (odd things never stop with Sarah Palin )

• Why are all the photos of Palin gone from the State website as of yesterday?
• Why is her doctor no longer on staff at Mat Su where the baby was delivered?
• Why did Sean Hannity's website take down a thread on this?
• The virtual tour of the Mat Su hospital birthing facility is not working. This may be a glitch as well but the timing is odd
• Chris Ray/s MySpace page is scrubbed and the cached version gone from Google
• No lisiting on the hospital birth page from pre scrubbed/site take down
• This picture was found yesterday w/ a 2006 caption . it was used in 3/2008 newspsper article and I first found it as a 2007 family holiday photo on Thursday- just showing up today like that. Odd.

There is something desperately sad about Piper, the Palin's youngest daughter. She is a precious girl. Her parent's choices had to be hell on her over the last year. Now there is no one who can say for certain where she is or about the care and schooling she receives. Both Piper and her mother are MISSING IN ACTION. In the best case scenario that can't be healthy for a child that needs the protection of a stable home and a typical family life. Did she have to leave her family and friends? Does she have a kitchen where she can do her own cooking? Is it hired help or restaurants where she sits down for the replacement of the family meal? Is she overwhelmed with her new life and new friends?

Levi Johnston once lived in the same house with Piper. They were all one family before the split ups started. Now there are dark secrets and the family is no more, the divides are vast. Piper might be as far from her Wasilla home as New York. Levi is telling his part of the family story piece by piece. His Vanity Fair article titled “Me and Mrs. Palin” is coming out this week. The Palin's will not only deny anything Levi says, they will try and destroy everything about the Johnstons. The fact is they are no longer together and Levi is the one with a better track record for making sense.

"There wasn’t much parenting in that house" is a serious statement from Levi. There is enough to back him up but it does not sync with the packaging of the Sarah Palin that was sold to America. Her puppeteers and Palinistas are continuing to sell the ideal family of values. An über symbiotic relationship is not cute or healthy.

The questions surrounding Trig Palin are important, but please take some time to remember the missing and forgotten 8 year-old we know as Piper.

We know where Sarah is not (her own family is not let in on the top secret info). She is not in Wasilla. That leaves the Murdochs, the China connection and Newt Gingrich words of wisdom to follow. (Newt # 3 an East Coast base of operations)

Rumor is saying Sarah is in New York, Bristol was with a full double stroller (possibly with unmentioned paramour) at a fair in Wasilla. No sign of hubby Todd but
he might be living with Willow off of the compound he built on weekends. Piper?
Two of Murdoch's six children, Grace and Chloe are the same age and would make nice playmates, if anyone could find the parents to see if they are in school or who home schools the little darlings?

Since Murdoch owns and controls much of the world it is hard to pin down the preferred real estate of the moment or where he would put up guests. The possibilities are endless. I don't believe Sarah Palin would be paying rent like Brangelina. (renting out media mogul Rupert Murdoch's expansive waterfront home for $100,000 a month)

So it is complete and utter speculation on our part—and we invite you to knock this hypothesis down—but it would make sense to us if a Christian publisher, arguably best poised to engage Palin's likeliest core audience, didn't necessarily have the funds that would be needed to pin her down, especially given Barnett's track record in getting money out of publishing companies on behalf of politicians... But what if that Christian publisher had backing from a huge publishing conglomerate that did have that kind of money to spend? As we say, it's a hypothesis, and it might be completely wrong. But, however it happened, here's a more interesting question: Who gets the credit if the book's a hit—and who gets stuck with the blame if it's a flop?

UPDATE: Publishers Lunch now identifies HarperCollins CEO Brian Murray as the decision-maker on this deal, with the actual editorial duties being handled by Adam Bellow, one of the executive editors who survived February's Collins purge and is noted for his track record with conservative authors.
